Data-driven demolition solutions fuelled by technology

At GCD | PDI, we specialize in complex demolition projects, approaching them with innovative solutions and precision. Our in-house engineering department utilizes advanced technology to design each phase of the plan. Using Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools like Revit and STAAD.Pro (Structural Analysis and Designing Program), we create detailed, to-scale models of buildings and equipment that integrate architectural, engineering, and construction data into a single platform. Our unified approach improves coordination and minimizes risk. With these models in hand, our engineering team can design the safest and most effective strategy for dismantling a structure.

Equipped to dismantle a wide variety of structures

Our demolition fleet is a key part of our operational edge. The scale and versatility of our fleet allow us to take on technically demanding projects with greater speed and precision. Our use of the OilQuick coupling system (for example), enables rapid attachment change in under 30 seconds (instead of 30 minutes), maximizing our productivity on-site. With more than 30 specialized attachments and our mobile mechanic teams performing on-site maintenance and repairs, we minimize downtime and keep projects moving forward without delay.

Why choose GCD | PDI for your demolition project?

GCD | PDI we combine cutting-edge technology with hands-on experience and unwavering dedication. From advanced equipment that maximizes safety and efficiency to a skilled team that understands every detail of the demolition process, we deliver results you can trust. Our commitment to innovation, precision, and client satisfaction ensures every project is completed with the highest standards in the industry.

How does technology affect the demolition industry?

Technology is constantly reshaping the demolition industry in safety, efficiency, and green initiatives—driving advancements through equipment, high-precision cutting tools, 3D modeling and simulation, real-time project monitoring, and dust suppression systems. These innovations allow demolition contractors to complete projects faster, minimize environmental impact, and maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.

GCD | PDI has a wide variety of tools which enable our team to effectively complete jobs within time and on-budget. These tools include 3D Scanning & Building Information Modeling (BIM) such as Revit and STAAD.Pro creating digital models of structures allowing us to map out demolition sequences and phases, locate utilities, and minimize damage to adjacent properties.

Our fleet is equipped with state-of-the-art coupling system, OilQuick, which allows us to change attachments for our excavators within 30 seconds maximizing productivity on-site.

Precision Demolition at its Finest

Often, selective demolition in a commercial space will come with noise, vibration and dust sensitive areas—these can include urban centres, active buildings, or infrastructure situated in close proximity to transit, vehicle or pedestrian traffic. GCD | PDI has the experience to safely completes this work without disrupting patrons or nearby operations. We assess risk, coordinate logistics, and maintain strict safety protocols to protect everyone on and around the site.
