What happens to the debris for industrial demolition projects?

Our goal is to divert up to 95% of debris from landfills. On site we sort, recycle, dispose and divert materials. Concrete, steel, and asphalt are often recycled; hazardous materials are safely removed under environmental guidelines. This reduces landfill waste and supports LEED certification goals.

We are a fully bonded and insured demolition company. We have certifications in demolition, environmental compliance, and hazardous material handling. We are part of the Builders Exchange of Kentucky as well as part of the Home Builders Association of Lexington. GCD is also OSHA compliant and EPA Certified.

This Tenneco facility located in Kettering, Ohio was used to make shocks and structs for General Motors. GCD | PDI was responsible for removing was 167,000 square feet of the 1,000,000 square foot manufacturing plant.

Priestly Demolition Inc. was awarded the engineering, design sequencing and the implantation of a system to safely support the North and South Portico of the Province House while replacing the old stone foundations with the new concrete foundations.
